I qualified for the 2007 Triathlon World Championships!

Help me get to Germany with a donation!
In August I traveled to Portland and raced at the U.S. Age Group Nationals. The race is the sole US qualifier for worlds. I had trained for almost a year for the race with the goal of qualifying. After a reasonable swim and a tough bike I managed to run myself into a qualifing spot! The worlds race will be held in Hamburg, Germany on September 2nd.
You can help me get there!
Flights, accomodation, bike transport, visas, race registration, food, race uniforms and various other expenses are making going to cost me around $3000!!. Not suprisingly my student budget does not support this sort of lifestyle!
So, I have decided to collect funds to help finance my trip.
I will also donate around 10-20% to Bicycles for Humanity.

Bicycles for Humanity

Bicycles for Humanity is a non-profit organization which collects and repairs bikes. They then ship them to Africa to be distributed in poor communities. I really like this concept as I feel it empowers people, enabling them to get their produce to market, medicines to remote areas or simply obtain access to clean drinking water.
A percentage of the funds raised will be donated to Bicyles for Humanity.
