11/5 - Corrections to Problem Set 8: In 8.1d, the correlation coefficient
was not solved correctly: the answer should read 2/5y. In 8.5a, Rxx(tau)
= 2*e^-|tau|, not 4*e^-|tau|.
11/13 - Homework 9 posted, due Nov 22nd.
11/22 - Homework 10 posted, due Dec 5th. Have a good break!
12/2 - Homework 11 posted (not due). Final Exam from fall 2001 is posted
on the web. Solutions to the exam will be given during the review lecture
on December 12, 2002.
12/9 - Please note that the solutions to homework problem 10.5 used
N0/2 = 4 for all parts of the problem. It should have read just N0/2, i.e,
the calculation for the variance at time T=1 and T=2 was incorrect and
should have been in terms of N0/2.
-The last lecture on Thursday, Dec. 12 will be a review session conducted
by the TA.
12/12 - Supplementary notes on Signal Detection in Noise and Matched
Filtering are available here:
