Disadvantages
- Weaker than the Von Neumann or the stuck-at-fault models.
- Limited practical value, may not model many real situations accurately.
Advantages
- The model allows the design of Boolean circuits that can tolerate arbitrary number of failures.
- An arbitrary manufacturing fault could be converted into a short-circuit fault using “gate surgery”
